King’s Crossing Wine List

2006 Reserve St. Croix - Iowa Red Table Wine - $15.95
A hearty dry red, made from 100% St. Croix grapes grown in the King’s Crossing Vineyard.  Similar to a Merlot. Pair with steak and other beef dishes. Released in July 2008

2007 Jester’s Quandary - Iowa Red Table Wine - $13.95
A fruit, smooth, dry red made mostly from the Frontenac grape. Similar to a Cabernet. Pairs well with lean beef dishes.

2007 LaCrosse - Iowa White Table Wine - $14.95
An elegant dry white wine boasting almond, pear and honey undertones. Similar to a Chardonnay or Pinot Gricio. Pairs well with seafood and light pasta dishes.

2006 Giffon’s Perch - Iowa Red Table Wine - $12.95
A semi-dry red wine, similar to a Chianti. Great with most any Italian dish. Both red and white sauces are enhanced with this fine wine.

2007 Sand Hollow White - Iowa White Table Wine - $12.95
An easy to drink semi-dry white wine named in honor of the one room school house that resided at the corner of 260th and Dobney Ave.

2008 White St. Croix - Iowa Red Table Wine - $14.95
This semi-dry/semi-sweet red wine is made with the St. Croix grape and processed like a white wine, giving it a light and fruity flavor.

2008 Edelweiss - Iowa White Table Wine - $16.95
Made from the grapes grown in the King’s Crossing vineyard, this semi-sweet varietal is light, clean and fruity, with a floral nose and apple undertones. Similar to a Rieslings and pairs well with just about anything.  Multiple Award Winner!

2008 Round Table Red - Iowa Red Table Wine - $12.95
A semi-sweet light red wine, similar to a white zinfandel. Light & Fruity.

2008 Guinevere’s Lace - Iowa White Table Wine - $14.95
This sweet white wine has smooth vanilla undertones and is made from Vignoles, Edelweiss, St. Pipin, and LaCresent grapes. Multiple Award Winner!

2007 Mead - Iowa Honey Wine - $13.95
A light, sweet, delicate wine made from Iowa honey. We are running very low on this wine.

2008 Princes Rachel’s Blush - Iowa Rose’ Table Wine - $13.95
Our overall best seller. Sweet and delicious. We use fresh grape juice to sweeten this irresistible wine. Pairs well with spicy, salty and sweet foods.

2009 Raspberry Apple - Iowa Fruit Table Wine - $12.95  Coming March 2010
A light, fruity Apple wine with just a touch of raspberry.   Local apples are from Ditmars Orchard in Council Bluffs.  Wonderful for entertaining or sitting on the deck with a good book.
